Intuitive Bodywork

I began my massage therapy adventure in 1986, when I opened a massage therapy practice in my hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. In a short time, my private practice had evolved into Tennessee Institute of Healing Arts, a nationally accredited massage therapy school and holistic health clinic offering Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Nutrition Counseling.

In January 2009, following a 23 year career in massage therapy education that led me from Tennessee to Florida to New York and New Jersey, I decided to return to my passion as a full-time massage therapist in private practice! I opened Intuitive Bodywork Massage Therapy in Edgewater, New Jersey.

In July 2010, my wife and I relocated to New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and in December 2010, Intuitive Intuitive Bodywork moved to Downtown New Cumberland.

I believe that safe, nurturing touch is essential to our achieving good physical health, for mental and emotional wellbeing and for achieving our full quality of life potential.

My education and experience has led me to specialize in Massage Therapy for Stress Relief and Relaxation, Neuromuscular Therapy for Pain Relief and Joint Mobility, Prenatal Massage, Lymphatic Breast Massage, Energy Bodywork and Mind-Body Healing, with a focus on women's health.

Level 1 Certified Neuromuscular Therapy Instructor, International Academy of NMT, St. Petersburg, FL. Taught neuroumuscular therapy theory and techniques in schools and for professional continuing education since 1994.
Certified Prenatal Therapist, Institute of Somatic Therapy, Springville, CA
Lymphatic Breast Massage Therapist and Continuing Education Instructor, studied Breast Massage with Debra Curties at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage in Toronto, Lymphatic Drainage Breast Massage with Dr. Bruno Chikley, M.D. in Columbus Ohio and Healthy Breast Massage with Susanrachel Condin at the Swedish Institute in New York City. Taught breast massage in schools and for professional continuing education since 1999.
