I
believe in the power of touch and its use in healing on both an individual level and ultimately, in making the world a better place to live, work and play. I have studied the effects of massage therapy and nurturing touch extensively, including research training at the Touch Research Institute (TRI) at the University of Miami School of Medicine and an in depth dissertation about touch while attending Vermont College. The Vermont college study explored the link between lack of touch in early childood and violent behavior in adolesence and adulthhood.

I most recently served as Corporate Director of Education for Cortiva Institute Schools of Massage Therapy, based in Hoboken, NJ. In January 2009 I decided to return to my passion as a full-time massage therapist in private practice! My education and experience has led me to specialize in pain management and women's health needs.
